Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who takes on Z-grade movies typically that are in the martial arts or horror genre. The style is similar that of The Cinema Snob but tending toward action films that are dumb and boring, as well as an obsession with these films. After gaining some fame through the channels of Channel Awesome (under her previous handle Obscurus Lupa), she began to write reviews in late 2009. In early 2015 she was on the website when Obscurus Lupa Presents evolved to Movie Nights. The podcasts she hosts cover the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
