Allie Clifton
Allie Clifton, a sports broadcaster with Spectrum Sports Net, is now in her fifth season as a player for the Los Angeles Lakers. Allie has been an active professional basketball player since more than 10 years and is also an Emmy-winning five times. Before becoming a part of Spectrum Sports Net, Allie worked as a sideline reporter on FOX Sports Ohio's Cleveland Cavaliers telecasts, sideline reporter for the Toledo Mud Hens (Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers), sports feature reporter for 13 ABC Action News (WTVG) along with color analyst and sideline reporter for high-school and collegiate basketball, volleyball and track & field, on track & field and volleyball on Buckeye Cable Sports Network (BCSN). Clifton is a native of Ohio, graduated with Bachelor's and master's degrees from The University of Toledo in the fields of Sports Analysis and Communication, as well as the Liberal Studies. Allie was a successful basketball career during her time at Van Wert High School that included being the captain of the only school to win a league title, went on to be a star in her time at UT. In 2010, she commanded the team, included in the Mid-American Conference West Division, to win the title. Clifton is also no acquaintance with The Q and has attended her time at the MAC Tournament during her four seasons playing at Toledo.
